Le Roy, IL · McLean County
AI Development for Le Roy IL — Farms, Main Street and Exit 149
Practical systems for the operations, trades and shops in a town that still has its own downtown and its own school.
Two Bloomington men laid out Le Roy in November 1835 — Asahel Gridley, later the first millionaire in McLean County, and Merritt Covell. By 1900 the town of 1,629 supported two newspapers, four churches, a hotel, three doctors, three lawyers, twenty-five stores and two grain elevators. Twenty-seven of those commercial buildings are still standing on East Center Street and North Chestnut, listed together as a historic district, and a good number of them still have a business in them.
Two things kept Le Roy from becoming purely a bedroom for Bloomington. Interstate 74 came through in the early 1970s and put an exit here, which gave the town its own trade in fuel, food and services from traffic that was never going to stop otherwise. And Le Roy kept its school — CUSD 2, three buildings, roughly 756 students — while most of the small districts around it were folded into somebody else's. A town with its own district has its own Friday nights, its own calendar and its own reason for people to stay.
The rest is ground. Corn and beans, custom operators, seed and chemical dealers, equipment repair, and the trucking that moves it all. Exit 149 is also how people get to Moraine View, a 1,687-acre state recreation area with a lake in it, which puts a summer and hunting-season load on the businesses at the edge of town.
How We Build It
Your business does not have to change to fit our software. We build the software to fit your business.
We do not hand you another piece of software and expect you to figure out how to use it.
- 01We learn how your business actually works — a real week, not the version on paper.
- 02We find where the most is being lost — usually one specific handoff.
- 03We build the smallest thing that fixes it — one workflow, fixed price, a result you can see.
- 04We add to it as you grow — each piece connects to the last.
A person on your team can always review anything important before it goes out. We are a Illinois-based team and we work under an NDA whenever you want one.

Let’s fix one thing first in Le Roy
Start with the one handoff that costs you the most. We scope it for a fixed price, build it, and show you it works before anyone talks about a bigger system.
