01 / Booking Southern View Community Park and the hall
Step 1 · Where it starts
A reservation page showing what is actually free, what each space seats, and what a deposit costs, with the request completed in one sitting rather than by walking into the South Fifth Street office.
Step 2 · What gets automated
Requests are checked against existing bookings, village events and any maintenance closure, and a conflict is reported at the moment of asking rather than a week later.
Step 3 · The process it plugs into
Each reservation carries its deposit status, its clean-up requirement and its contact, so the person opening up on Saturday knows what was agreed without ringing the clerk.
Step 4 · SolaceSentry review
The clerk or a board member confirms every booking. Deposits and refunds are decided by a person and the decision is recorded against the reservation.
Step 5 · What leaves the system
A facility calendar residents can trust, and deposits returned or retained on a rule everybody can see.
Proof metric: Double bookings and cancellations per year, and deposits still unreturned thirty days after an event.
