01 / Pricing dirt and tile work
Step 1 · Where it starts
An estimate is built where the job is: photographs, depths, run lengths, spoil, access, all captured while standing on the ground being priced.
Step 2 · What gets automated
Measurements and notes dictated into a phone are turned into a structured line-by-line draft, and prior jobs on similar ground are pulled up beside it so a price starts from what the last one actually cost you.
Step 3 · The process it plugs into
Quotes, accepted work and machine availability sit on one board, so committing to a job in June accounts for the machine already promised elsewhere in June.
Step 4 · SolaceSentry review
You set the price. The system assembles the sheet and reminds you what the last three like it ran to; it never sends a figure you have not looked at.
Step 5 · What leaves the system
A written estimate out the same evening instead of the following weekend, with the photographs and depths attached to it.
Proof metric: Days from site visit to quote sent, and the gap between what a job was priced at and what it actually cost.
